Punjab Civil Service (Judicial Branch) Examination 2019 to be conducted jointly by Punjab Public Service Commission and Hon'ble High Court of Punjab & Haryana for recruitment to the posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division) cum-Judicial Magistrate. This examination shall be conducted in three stages namely:
1.                   Preliminary Examination
2.                   Main Examination
3.                   Viva Voce

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: -
  1. On last date of filling application form Candidate must possess as a Degree of Bachelor of Law of any University incorporated by Law in India or a Degree of Bachelor of Law of Punjab University (undivided), The Dacca University, The Tribhuwan University, Nepal. The Sind University or of the Rangoon or Mandalay University in Burma, or should be a Barrister of England or Ireland or member of the Faculty of Advocates of Scotland. The expression "Degree of Bachelor of Laws" means a degree entitling a candidate to be enrolled as an advocate under the Advocate Act, 1961 and the rules made there under.

Preliminary Examination :-





The Preliminary examination shall be to objective type question. The Objective type multiple choice question for th Preliminary examination shall be from syllabus prescribed for Main Written Examination. The Preliminary Examination shall be of objective type with multiple-choice questions as given below:

Viva Voce to judge the personal qualities of the candidates. carry 100 Marks







The viva voce test shall relate to the matters of general interest and is intended to test the candidates’ Alertness, Intelligence and general outlook. Consideration shall also be paid to the bearing of the candidates. It shall be conducted in English.

Sr. Law Officer and Legal Assistant in DELHI DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY DDA

Sr. Law Officer Pay Level 11 Age not exceeding 35 yrs
Qualification
(i) Possessing Regular Degree in Law (entitling the incumbent for Registration at bar and appearing before the Courts) from a recognized University or equivalent; and
(ii) 07 years’ experience at bar,
FOR DDA EMPLOYEES

The question paper shall be of 02 hours duration of 120 marks consisting of 120 questions of objective type (multiple choice questions) of the respective discipline as well as questions on test of reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general awareness and English language followed by Interview of shortlisted candidate

Legal Assistant Pay Matrix Level 7 Age Not exceeding 30 yrs
Qualification
(i) Possessing Regular Degree in Law (entitling the incumbent for Registration at Bar and appearing before the Courts) from a recognized University or equivalent; and
(ii) 03 years’ experience at Bar.
FOR DDA EMPLOYEE
Regular Degree in Law (entitling the incumbent for Registration at Bar and appearing before the Courts) from a recognized University or equivalent and 03 years of regular service in DDA.
